Open 24 hours on the weekends. It's a little confusing until you get a hang of the menus, though. Great place, though, especially if you need to sober up.

  • 8th Street Tunnel, DoNeZKC (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
This Tunnel was not found in 2003, but in 1996 before the construction of the State Street parking garage. It was built in 1887 and was closed in 1956. It was lost of the years and new construction in the Garment District. There are alot of historical picture's on the Kansas City, MO Public Library website. It is truely an amazing structure to see.

This used to be a Pizza Hut. Spent many nights studying here right before the big exam. Only to go back to the apartment and drink away all that was learned.

  • Kansas City Smartport, Former Richars-Gebaur AFB - Closed, Dougie (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
attended many a fine (and free) airshow out at RGAFB! Always a great time, with cars parked on the grass as far as you could see. Either the USAF Thunderbirds or the USN Blue Angels flew, and plenty of other aerial entertainment as well as nice static displays of aircraft. RG was originally Grandview AFB but the name was changed to honor 2 of Americas finest...LT Richards..who died fighting the Germans in WW1, and Capt Gebaur, who died fighting the reds over Korea. It was a sad day indeed when the former RGAFB became a ...railroad hub!
